ILC

In spring quarter of 2017, I will continue to create a business that focuses on regional agricultural exchanges. The progress of the business will be reflected by status updates to my sponsor on the development of the website and business. This work will entail working with software developers and learning more about corporate law. To accelerate the transition to more regional agricultural models,  I will perform research on the bygone commodity systems practiced by First Nations of America and blogposts will subsequently be created about this research.

This quarter I will research on the plant systems of Miwok and Pomo First Nations, perform, data analysis on commodity food production in the US and Canada, and read ‘Tending the Wild’. – blogposts pertaining to indigenous food sources
I will learn how to compete in a university-sponsored business competition. This spring I will compete in the Alaska Airlines Environmental Innovation Challenge. – one page summary presented to judges
