The trial is on track so far. Plants have moved into the unheated greenhouse in prep for planting in Week 8 (temp looks okay at this point).

According to Connor, there is some Septoria pressure in the greenhouse, but none was spotted on the trial plants when I was there in the beginning of the week. We did lose one plant to a virus, which I was quite proud to spot after studying studying plant pathology and some pathosystems in the last few weeks.

Fertilization, tillage, placing posts and irrigation line should happen in the next week. I’m planning on attending Dave’s lecture on Monday at 10:30 on calculating amendments, and the week after will be planting time.
