- We begin our time together today by acknowledging the indigenous people of the Medicine Creek Treaty, whose land on which the college stands. We acknowledge the Squaxin people who are the traditional custodians of this land and pay respect to elders past and present of the Squaxin Island Tribe.

- Motion to amend Article III Section One of the GSU Bylaws: Executive Director, line b. Compensation; Change to a rate of $1.50 above the minimum wage to take effect at the start of winter quarter 2018. (3 minutes) Seconded by Emily Christianson.

- The Executive Director shall be paid hourly, at a rate of $1.50 above the minimum wage.
