  1. Medicine Creek Treaty Acknowledgement (2 mins)
    1. We begin our time together today by acknowledging the indigenous people of the Medicine Creek Treaty, whose land on which the college stands. We acknowledge the Squaxin people who are the traditional custodians of this land and pay respect to elders past and present of the Squaxin Island Tribe.
  2. Approval of the Minutes (5/30/2018) and Agenda (6/6/2018) (2 minutes)

  7. Bylaw Revisions for Treasurer and Finance Committee with Alex (5 minutes)
  8. Pay Structure for Student Government Discussion with Beth (10 minutes)
    1. Motion to change GSU pay structure from a stipend system with a learning allotment rate of $535.00 per quarter to an hourly wage position with a rate of $12.00 per hour with a cap of 8 hours per week. In this model, the body would maintain a membership of 15 members, the least amount possible as per the constitution to ensure that GSU members are paid a fair and livable wage for their work.
    2. Motion to implement pay restructure pilot over summer quarter as proposed; review will occur in first half of fall quarter before taking effect for the regular academic year
  9. Reimbursement for Beth for Personal Expenses with JJ (5 minutes)
    1. Motion to allocate a GSU Service and Outreach stipend to Beth Shelley for her work on behalf of the GSU outside of her role as executive director to the effect of $260.00.
