Mostly…
My packing for Glasgow was slightly interrupted by a trip to Corvallis, Oregon for a meeting of a Montessori School Board that I sit on; the meeting was productive, and the train fare put me back $85! Now, back at home, a last minute prep check for the Glasgow trip. My batteries are charged on the Lumix are it’s ready to go. I bought an H1 Handy Recorder to grab those Scottish accents, the little thing is so sensitive picking up all surrounding sounds, I’ll see what I can do with it. My book, The Glasgow Almanac: An A-Z of the the City and its People is packed (that word again) with info on architecture and important Scots–it will be a fine companion. I’ll be packing that rain jacket I thought I’d leave at home: the weather forecast for Glasgow is rain rain rain and in the 60s. That’s OK, I was too hot in the Corvallis valley heat this past weekend. I’ll try to outdo Justin’s rain photographs.
Good luck, it’s been raining here all day. When are you leaving?
I leave for SeaTac in two hours!
