The Role

We seek a GIS specialist for a 3-6 month assignment in our Sydney team.  As our Sydney office grows, there is a high probability that a permanent position will become available to you in this role while you are in the contract.

You will be responsible for delivering technical GIS, Data and Graphics deliverables for a range a clients, predominantly for our Contaminated Sites Management team.

You will perform data analysis and data conversions & provide spatial analysis, data management and graphic services to support environmental projects.  You will also provide training and support for GIS users across Australia and New Zealand.

Skills & Experience

To be great in this role you will need:

• a degree in spatial or environmental science
• significant experience in high level GIS analysis, including 3D Analyssis and Spatial Analysis
• experience in consulting, primarily in Contaminated Sites
• experience in AutoCAD, ESDAT, EQUIS or other database software, desirable
• experience in sourcing and purchasing data, desirable
