The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Institute for Water Resources is hiring a number of Pathways Interns for Summer 2014. The Institute is the Corps’ center of expertise for integrated water resources management. Applicants can find more information about IWR here (http://www.iwr.usace.army.mil/). Current undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply. These positions will be open from March 7th-March 20th and applicants must apply online at USAJobs during this time. Interns will get to work on a variety of interesting issues that the Army Corps is involved in including environmental restoration, flood and coastal storm damage reduction, environmental conflict resolution, water resources management, and navigation. IWR’s office is adjacent to Fort Belvoir in Alexandria, VA.
