Dear Colleague,
I hope you have had a wonderful semester so far! I would like to inform you about new internship opportunities that The Washington Center has through the Federal Diversity Internship Initiative – a fully funded, paid internship program with various federal agencies.
There is high demand for students with GIS backgrounds during the upcoming summer semester. We expect students with related training and experience to be very successful candidates, and they are highly encouraged to apply!
We would love if you could spread the word to your students.
Accepted students will have a chance to intern for 10 weeks at one of these agencies:
• Department of Veterans Affairs
• National Archives and Records Administration
• U.S. Census Bureau
• Federal Aviation Administration
• Department of the Treasury
Interns will receive free, fully-furnished housing close to their internship location, a twice-monthly stipend, and professional guidance from a TWC adviser.
Interested students must submit an application by February 25, 2016 to be considered.
