Experts needed to help develop a Shoreline Armoring Implementation Strategy
The Habitat Strategic Initiative Lead is seeking members for an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to help develop an Implementation Strategy, which is a recovery and protection strategy that accelerates progress toward meeting the Shoreline Armoring 2020 Vital Sign targets across the Puget Sound. Participants will work alongside the Habitat Strategic Initiative Leads, Puget Sound Partnership, Puget Sound Institute, and others in this effort.
Implementation Strategies will help the region align planning and resources toward achieving shared recovery and protection targets. They will be used to inform future iterations of the Puget Sound Action Agenda by identifying critical priorities for recovery or protection. The IDT is composed of 10-12 experts with diverse perspectives who shape the development and prioritization of protection and restoration pathways. You can learn more about the expectations and responsibilities of the IDT in the recruitment letter.
