The Department of Earth and Environment and the Global Development Policy Center at Boston University are offering two positions (one PhD student, one postdoctoral researcher) for young scholars interested in examining the impact of Chinese overseas investments on land use change, biodiversity, and indigenous livelihoods.

The two positions offer the opportunity to work with a unique integrated database on Chinese overseas investment developed at the Global Development Policy Center.

Note the short deadline for applicants for the PhD position: we encourage submission by Dec 15. However, applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and we are somewhat flexible with accommodating later submissions.
