Puget Sound Energy is seeking part time interns for the Renewable Energy Center at the Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility in Ellensburg, WA.

Job Description:
– Greet visitors to the facility and answer questions regarding wind and solar technology.
– Give presentations and tours to businesses, schools, and other groups who visit the center.

Requirements:
– College degree or student in pursuit of a degree.
– A sincere interest in renewable energy.
– Must be a quick learner, able to memorize and effectively communicate information pertaining to renewable energy.
– Must have good public speaking skills. Daily tours and presentations of up to an hour in length are a regular part of the   job.
– Possess excellent people skills. Must be engaging and approachable.
– Must be available to work a majority of the weekends. Some weekday hours are also available. Facility is open 9:00 to 5:30, seven days a week, from April through November.
– Position is part time, 8-24 hours a week. Additional hours available in the spring.
– Several weekend positions are available as well as a position covering both weekday and some weekend hours as needed.

Students can use this internship for credit.

Pay: $11.50/hr.
