Camas is a biannual publication of the University of Montana’s Environmental Studies Program.  We aim to create a dialogue about human relationships with each other and the natural environment.  In the past, our magazine has included the works of Rick Bass, Wendell Berry, David James Duncan, Richard Manning, Janisse Ray, Terry Tempest Williams, and many other well-known writers.  We offer emerging writers the opportunity to publish alongside well-established voices of the North American West
