The Oregon Coast Aquarium Education Department’s internship program is designed to provide
an individual with a practical learning experience while gaining valuable knowledge related to
the professional field of free-choice, informal education, and learning environments. The
Education Summer Intern assists the Aquarium’s Education Staff with the preparation and
implementation of summer programs and initiatives both on and off-site for a variety of
audiences. The internships offer a hands-on opportunity to work with youth and the general
public in conservation and environmental education in an aquarium setting.
