8th Annual City of Tacoma Bike Swap

Saturday April 30th – University of Puget Sound in Tacoma

 

 

The Tacoma Bike Swap is the largest bicycle-related event in the South Sound region. Community members will gather to buy, sell and trade new and used bicycles, along with accessories like helmets, bells and trailers. Local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and bicycling experts will be on hand to answer questions about bike equipment, maintenance, routes and safety.

 

We need your help to make this event happen!

As a token of our appreciation, each volunteer will receive a free food voucher to use at one of the food trucks during the event.

 

 

Volunteers are needed for the following:

 

8 am-10 am    (2 hour shift) 4 volunteers needed

  • Set up for the event

 

9:30 am-12:00 pm    (2.5 hour shift) 8 volunteers needed

  • Bicycle check in/check out at Bike Corral
  • Facilitate the bicycle rodeo activity
  • Monitor recycling stations
  • General assistance
  • Take photos

 

12:00 pm-2:30 pm    (2.5 hour shift) 8 volunteers needed

  • Bicycle check in/check out at Bike Corral
  • Facilitate bicycle rodeo activity
  • Monitor recycling stations
  • General assistance
  • Take photos

 

2:00 pm-3:30 pm    (1.5 hour shift) 3 volunteers needed

  • Clean up after event
