Interns will lead NSEA Community Work Parties while learning about restoration techniques, native plants, and salmon ecology. Interns will educate community members about the importance of salmon and instruct volunteers in restoring habitat throughout Whatcom County.
Qualifications:
- Interpersonal Skills
- Willingness to get dirty and work hard in all weather
- A working knowledge of Pacific salmon and native plants, preferred
- GIS experience, preferred
- Must be able to carry 40 pounds
Time Commitment:
- Saturdays and select weekdays, from September 28 – December 13
