Marine Mammal Connection Society is looking for energetic people to teach, develop programs, help with fundraising and complete other tasks as needed for this newly reformed non-profit organization. You will be responsible for teaching 60-90 minute marine mammal programs to pre K thru 12th grade students and/or yearlong programs with the possibility of field excursions to see marine mammals. The programs are centered primarily on northwest marine mammals but entail a strong conservation message with activities and games. Part of the internship will also be helping update Marine Mammal Connection Society material, seeking funding opportunities and doing marketing. There are many possibilities with this growing organization. If you are interested please call Stefanie Hawks-Johnson at 206-459-1398 or email sahawks@uw.edu.
