Deadline: June 15Looking to gain work experience in the environmental non-profit sector? Enjoy working with youth and in the garden? Interns at the Corvallis Environmental Center take on meaningful work and gain the opportunity to learn more about the local food system, sustainable agriculture, food justice, and outreach work.
Summer Camp Interns will:
• Work in the garden with youth of many age groups (age range is 5-18)
• Learn about curriculum design for cooking, bee, garden and bug camps
• Pick up useful youth gardening and nature education skills
• Take an active role in the community with a variety of SAGE garden related tasks
• Fulfill a minimum of a 75-hour time commitment (approx. 15 hours a week for 5 weeks)
• OPTIONAL: Earn 2+ academic credits (approximately 60+ hours per term) – available to LBCC & OSU students
