Hello my name is Samantha Altheide, I am a freshman at The Evergreen State College, and This blog is inspired from an assignment given in the spring of 2016 by “Plants in Motion.”

My name is William T. Burch, I am an aspiring botanist, long time gardener, and horticulturist. Currently I attend The Evergreen State College and during my studies have been working to expand my general botany knowledge so that I have the tools I need to expand into my specific fields of interest, which there are many. While botany and the natural world have and always will be my true passion, all of the sciences call to me and I plan to study and keep learning about this amazing world of ours long into my old age.
