This is a table top I stumbled across. I was drawn
to the colors but even more so to the shapes of the stones.
This is a piece of trash in a yard. It is a wrapper
of some sort, and once again I was drawn to the
shape it had somehow wound up in. Although the
photograph is a bit blurry, I appreciate the ambiguity
it gives to this bit of litter.

It looks almost as if its a flower by the shape, and its opened up almost as if it wants to eat, hungry for more. I think its really cool the way the blur portrayed that.
The piece of trash almost appears to be a strange butterfly type of creature hovering above the grass. I like it. I notice that the color of the trash is similar to the stones. I think the blur in the photo of the trash actually defines the shape of it more and hides the fact that it is a wrapper with text.
I am also often drawn the shapes of things. There is something when I look at both of these pictures together that connects them for me. I see a similarity in the shinny grout of the table top and the grass. The shape of the stones and the trash both have that ambiguity that you mentioned.
That table top is amazing! I just got really fascinated by it as soon as I clicked on your page. That piece of trash looks really interesting, at first I actually thought it was a flower haha. But good job those are really cool pictures.
