1st draft was due Tuesday of Week 8, May 20, at your weekly meeting with faculty; the draft should be substantially complete (Sections 1-6) so you can get meaningful faculty feedback in time to revise before Week 10.
see Suggested Project Paper Outline.
Final draft is due Thursday, Week 10, June 5, by 9am.
IMPORTANT FORMATTING INFORMATION: For the final draft, we strongly encourage you to submit your paper using the LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) format. Springer Verlag provides templates for LNCS authors; Judy and Sherri have predigested these for you. See Using LCNS Word Template for Project Paper, or Sherri’s notes for Latex.
We recommend you use the Word template if you do not already know LaTex.
Getting your paper to faculty on time is critical! If it is on time, we will include it in the SOS 2014 Project Proceedings, and you will receive a copy of the Proceedings at your evaluation conference the following week. As usual, faculty can commit only to reading those reports that are on time. Please hand it in on time and avoid trouble!
