Tea Tasting

4a) Terroir is the language that soil have with the plants. It’s the relationship between the cultivators palms and the food that is being molded in some shape or form that will journey to our tables. It’s the care for the environment. It’s the feeling evoked after you’ve put that brownie into your mouth and your taste buds are enflamed with the sweet chocolatey taste. It’s love and appreciation for food.

4b) When I tasted the Darjeeling tea I was astonished by how strong it was. I could barely take a sip without having to focus on how I was going to swallow this tea that was so full of flavor. I guess you could say that I like infusions, instead of tea. I tried the Darjeeling tea with sugar, and without because I wanted to see how the sugar would change the flavor of the tea. I liked how woody/ barky the tea tasted, where as with the oolong tea it was very floral. It was a lot easier to drink than the Darjeeling tea. Although I can appreciate both. I still think that I’d rather stick to my herbal teas, and my infusions teas.
