Temporary Weeds Disguised as Sprinkles of Color

While walking in the field it is easy to notice the small splashes of color all over the field. These colors are small flowers that are actually just weeds. These weeds wedge themselves into the roots of grass, and force themselves over the blades. Survival of the fittest I guess. These weeds may be pretty to look at, easy to tolerate, but they do cause trouble. They dot the land, and keep coming back.

Reflection

One of the times I visited the park, something was odd. I became so comfortable with how the park looked, that just the fact the grass was mowed made me feel uneasy, or that I was looking at another place. My friend made a comment, saying it looked less beautiful. I agreed with her. I thought the park looked more stale with the grass cut. The weed flowers were diminished, the field didn’t look luscious. I was sort of disappointed, which caught me off guard. Its odd to be disappointed by something that is usually a good thing for most.
