Climate Change The Human Impact on Earth

Climate is defined by a change in global or regional climate patterns. In particular, it is referencing the current changes that are human caused.  Though climate change has happened in the past, the earth has been both far warmer and far colder then the current climate, the difference between current and past changes is the rate in which the climate is changing. Human influence has caused a dramatic increase in the atmospheric carbon levels which have lead to and increase in the earths overall temperature. Almost everybody has firsthand witnessed the human influence that is causing climate change such as use of fossil fuels or plastics and other waste dumped in the oceans and waterways. Personally as a child I lived near an abandon dump, and my friends and I would climb onto the hill that over looks it and gaze in awe at how horribly wasteful and selfish humans are. The increased rate in which the climate is changing posses a threat to all life on earth, and it is our duty as those who created this problem to fix it or else someday the earth will be a dump just as the one near my childhood home.
