Future of East Bay Waterfront Park

In the future most of East Bay Waterfront Park, including my area of study , will be underwater. By 2100 sea level is expected to rise 60 cm (just under two feet). This estimate doesn’t include rapid ice flow from Greenland or the Antarctic into the sea. The rise in sea level will put my area of study underwater. This harms the ecosystem, and humans in this area. The pictures below demonstrate the sea level rise at no rise, one meter rise and four meter rise. As you can see the water level starts to flood East Bay at a one meter rise and at a four meters rise the water starts to flood the roads around East Bay and some of the homes in surrounding areas.
