The Dock
The dock has proven to be a resource for humans and wildlife. Humans use the dock as a place of learning because of its informative signs, as a view point to look out over East Bay, and as a shelter for the homeless because the use it as a source of shade and protection from the rain. Its is a resource of the wildlife because it provides a hard substrate for marine creatures to attach to, nutrients for plants such as moss, and shade and shelter for animals.
Underneath the dock, I’ve seen homeless people staying there.
