Drive to Capitol Lake Dam
I started my trip to Capitol Lake Dam around 6:30 P.M. It was 82° F. in my area of Yelm. After leaving my housing community, I continue on Bald Hills Rd SE in to Yelm (A left at Starbucks puts you onto the 510). I continue on the 510 to I-5 south. I head towards the US 101 via exit 104. I take the first exit onto Cooper Point Rd SW and then another immediate right onto Evergreen Park Dr SW (There is a Chevron on the adjacent corner). I hang a left onto Lakeridge Dr SW (by the Thurston County Human Resources building) and another left onto Deschutes Pkwy SW (Lakeridge tees Deschutes). I drove almost to the Capitol Lake Dam, but parked on the sidewalk loop just before Deschutes turned into 5th Avenue SW. Roundtrip was 77 miles and I arrived back at home around 10:30 P.M. and only 57° F.
OOOH yea! I like the driving idea! Except, IT IS NOT SAFE!!!! ;D haha nice job Eric. You take a risky approach while still getting good points across.
