Many birds were taking off and landing at Capitol Lake. I could hear the mallards quacking out right of way pleas and the seagulls complaining back, squawking that they were first in line. The flight/landing patterns seemed similar to that at Seattle/Tacoma International Airport. I wonder if any Canadian fliers were at the lake that evening? I was able to catch another set of photos of a sea gull taking off but the mallards kept my attention at the lakeside this evening.

The way you’ve put your images on the post gives the illusion of a panorama image. It really played with my eyes, made me look a little deeper.
I like it. You’re making me think.
