“Present” Post Overview

In response to structured assignments and using provided guidelines, you will craft and publish a series of posts throughout the quarter that reflect your ongoing investigation of Olympia as it exists today. Using observational and reflective writing, still and moving images, audio, and mapping technology, you will cultivate and work to convey a sense of place made up of the cultural and natural features of your Area of Inquiry

“Present” posts will include required elements such as:

• Your waterline map(s).
• Field notes & sketches from field journal that consider the natural, cultural and built environment.
• Observational, impressionistic and expressionistic images that support your narrative.
• Hypertext links to resources the you use and/or which provide additional relevant information about your site today.
• A “featured image.”
• A physical location on GeoMashup.
• The correct post category: “Olympia Present”
• Keyword tags.
