Sean Williams teaches ethnomusicology, Irish Studies, and Asian Studies at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, where she has taught since 1991. Her teaching responsibilities for the 2013-2014 academic year focus on Irish Studies, including a spring quarter visit to Donegal. She is currently working on her next book, tentatively titled The Performance of Liminality: Sacred, Alluring, and Dangerous. She also has a Facebook alter ego named Captain Grammar Pants. She includes daily tips on grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etymology, and other issues of clarity in writing.
