October 15, 2010: Evergreen vs. Concordia

Friday night, the Evergreen Women’s Soccer Team traveled to Portland to take on Concordia University. Their energy high in anticipation of taking on the #1 Ranked team in the NAIA, Evergreen went out with a good effort. Concordia brought a lot of firepower, and fifteen minutes into the game scored their first goal. They were then able to capitalize on two more opportunities to make the score 3-0 at half time. Feeling confident in their play and putting the score aside, Evergreen went out in the second half trying to keep Concordia away from their goal and hoping to get one themselves. But Concordia had other plans. Concordia and their subs wore down the Geoducks with constant attacks and fresh legs to finish Evergreen without giving up a goal
