Women's soccer game shot

October 16, 2010: Evergreen vs. Warner Pacific

With a huge loss behind them, the Evergreen Women’s Soccer team once again took the field in Portland, this time against Warner Pacific. Things were looking good for the Geoducks in the first half considering the loss of Nina Hinton due to an injury against Concordia the day before. The game went back and forth seeing opportunities for both teams. The Geoducks went into the half tied 0-0. There was a feeling in the air that this game could be theirs and the Geoducks knew what they had to do to see this score turn in their favor. But again the failing legs of a team that had only 1 sub and no day for recovery gave Warner Pacific the edge and were able to put away 3 in the dying minutes of the second half to lay the Geoducks out. Next week, the Geoducks once again hit the road for Oregon in another double header against Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon.
