- I liked the Debut. I think it portrayed Filipino parties pretty well with the food, the dancing, and the late family members.
- Dark Blue Suit gave me a look into what it probably was like for Filipinos back then. I didn’t really like the main character, mostly because it didn’t look like he was a good friend or husband to many people.
- Actually, I didn’t care for a lot of the main characters in the books, mostly because they all have some kind of white idealism to them which gets annoying throughout the book.
