I didn’t realize Dante Basco was Filipino. I know this sounds weird but I really didn’t. I pride myself on being able to recognize Filipinos. And also the fact that Dante Basco was a really important figure in my childhood blows my mind. ALL THIS TIME I HAD A FILIPINO ROLE MODEL AND I DIDN’T REALIZE IT.
