Saturday evening’s match versus Warner Pacific was the final home match for senior Caitlin Swift (Seattle, WA) and the Geoducks responded with a four-set victory (21-25, 25-13, 26-24, 25-19), igniting a very spirited Evergreen crowd.
Maybe it was something in the wind or the feeling of California only several miles away, but the Evergreen State college Women's Soccer team came to the field differently than they had in several weeks.
Following a tough weekend, Evergreen was hoping to turn the tides after a long trip to Southern Oregon. The games were made more difficult after the loss of two more players.
Evergreen dropped their second match of the weekend at home to Warner Pacific University Saturday. Warner rode a 20th minute goal by Tarik Subasic and a 50th minute goal by Jameson Jones for the victory.
