Food is more than sustenance, it’s a basic human right, get involved in your food system today!
- Make your voice heard at local, county, state and international levels to advocate for policies that will create better ways to produce and distribute foods
- Stand in solidarity with workers struggling for fair treatment, march, strike, and boycott!
- Support the rights of women, people of color, indigenous communities, and immigrants
- Volunteer with local organizations/clubs or work to start your own
- Recognize that everyone should feel included in your movement and provide historically marginalized groups with opportunities to be heard
Get Involved in Local Government and Schools:
- Participate in your local Food Policy Council
- Advocate for Fresh Food Financing
- Engage in your local school district
