Official GSU position on smoking issues

The GSU opposes a campus-wide smoking ban, but does endorse relocating the current smoking areas away from high-traffic areas. The GSU is also concerned with issues surrounding enforcement of smoking areas and recognizes that current policy is not being adequately enforced. The GSU feels that RAD should be doing a better job of enforcement on lower-campus. Regarding upper campus, the faculty and the GSU have agreed to form a joint committee to address enforcement on upper-campus.
