Announcing the 48 Go Green!
An International Eco Film Competition

This February 18-20, Film Action Oregon, owner and operator of the Hollywood Theatre, and the wildly successful 48 Hour Film Project, brings you a totally new challenge – the 48 Go Green Environmental Film Competition.

48 Go Green is an avant-garde Festival that gives you the opportunity to express yourself and speak up against the ecological destruction taking place on our planet! Just like other 48 Hour Film events, this contest challenges you to make a narrative film in only 48 hours – writing, shooting, and editing the film.  But in this contest you select your own film genre (comedy, horror, spy, etc.) You are randomly assigned a character, prop and line of dialogue, PLUS an eco theme – such as air, water, animals, forest, that must appear in your film.

48 Go Green is an on-line contest so anyone around the world can enter, plus it’s held in-person in 8 US Cities, including our very own Portland!

Competition Dates:  February 18 – 20, 2011 (Kickoff on 2/18 at the Ecotrust building!)
Screenings: February 22, 2011 (Hollywood Theatre)

The overall winners (selected from among the 8 cities and the on-line competition) will win:.
