The Nature Conservancy is the world’s leading conservation organization, working in all 50 states and more than 33 countries. The Campaign Director oversees all aspects of the chapter’s capital campaign. S/he is also responsible for coordinating campaign activities with the annual fundraising activities of the organization. The Campaign Director works in conjunction with the director of philanthropy to develop plans and systems for the smooth operation of the campaign. S/he works collaboratively with department staff to and volunteers in fundraising, including donor cultivation and solicitation. S/he is responsible for moving a select group of prospects. The Campaign Director focuses on long-range strategic priorities, advances the Conservancy’

s goals, and communicates a broad vision to others. S/he understands and complies with all TNC gift-related policies and procedures and ensures ethical compliance, as defined by the Association for Fundraising Professionals.

The Campaign Director is responsible for a campaign of $20 million and support to a department fundraising goal of $5 million a year.
