SUMMER CAMP ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATORS (SEASONAL)

The Audubon Society of Portland is looking for highly motivated, top-notch Environmental Educators with a solid understanding of Pacific Northwest natural history. Applicants should enjoy working with children and a dedicated, close-knit team of educators.

We are hiring for at several positions, which will include half-day camps, full-day camps and overnight camps.

Preferred Qualifications:
· College degree;
· Knowledge of general forest ecology, herpetology, regional birds and mammals;
· Two years field experience teaching Environmental Education;
· Experience teaching school-age children;
· Experience driving a 15 passenger van;
· Overnight camp experience.

Pay is $10.50 for up to 40 hours per week with bonuses for overnight camps. There is one paid planning day per week of camp as a lead instructor.

Interviews will be conducted March 7th and 8th.
