The Clean Energy Committee is accepting proposals for grants for Spring quarter. We fund projects for resource conservation and renewable energy on campus, including education, demonstration, research, and implementation. This opportunity is open to students, faculty, and staff of all departments.

Some projects that we have funded this year include:
-bio-inspired molecular solar power and microbial fuel cells -demonstration projects for compost heat recovery and rainwater catchment -bike programs that are implemented at Housing -energy efficient super-computing -speakers and workshops on campus

More information on our process and previously funded grants can be found at our website:

Applications are due on May 20. These projects can be for the remaining part of Spring quarter, and also during Summer quarter. Our committee does not convene over the summer, so if you have a project you would like to do, apply now!
