Assistant to Council Coordinator Part-time Job
The Luckiamute Watershed Council is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person to assist the Watershed Coordinator in daily Council operations, with an emphasis on office, fiscal, and grant management. This position is a part-time, limited subcontract job. This position is based in the Council’s Independence office and will require 20 hours, possibly more, schedule to be negotiated. Fee: $15/hour. Evening and weekend work will occasionally be required. Use of your personal vehicle may be required for errands and transportation to meeting sites. Mileage will be reimbursed at the federal rate. Position open until filled no later than June 30th.
Skills required:
Have office administration experience
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Be extremely well organized and attentive to detail
Be proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel and Access in particular.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
Administration of nonprofit organizations
Digital file management
A basic understanding of nonprofit accounting
