As our Sustainability Coordinator, you will work closely with the staff comprising both the Facilities & Planning department and the Office of Finance and Administration to oversee sustainable efforts on behalf of the university. In conjunction with the Institute of Sustainable Solutions, you will focus on projects and initiatives undertaken to achieve the goals and objectives of the Climate Action Plan. Along with your participation in long-term environmental planning and the analysis of relevant performance data, you will strive to bridge relationships between administrative and academic units around sustainability programs; support conservation measures at the department level via campus-wide green teams; communicate to the public regarding the progress and successes of university sustainability efforts; and serve as a primary representative of the university when coordinating activities with public agencies and other Oregon University System institutions.
