SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALIST (AMERICORPS POSITION)

In Partnership with the Confluence Environmental Center (CEC),Community Energy Project is seeking motivated community members who are passionate about environmental conservation.

The Sustainability Specialist will work with Community Energy Project (CEP) volunteers to weatherize homes for low-income seniors and people with disabilities, and to conduct blower- door tests to determine how effective weatherization materials are. This will help us to determine the impact of small scale weatherization has on a client’s carbon footprint.

The CEC member will also help to design and implement systems for additional on-site recycling, and create an outdoor bike-cage to promote bike-commuting among staff and volunteers.

This position is perfect for outgoing, collaborative people who have a secret love of data.
