Market manager wanted for the Moreland Farmers Market. This person must be an enthusiastic and organized individual who can manage day-to-day operations and continue the market’s growth. The Market Manager works with market vendors, customers, volunteers, and the community. This requires an on-site presence at the market during all market hours (Wednesdays for approx. 21 weeks per year plus special events), as well as off-site work during non-market hours.

The Market Manager is expected to have a thorough understanding of market policies, the mission and goals and be able to apply them to the work environment.

The successful candidate will be an effective and diplomatic organizer with initiative, creativity, and an understanding of food security principles. Minimum requirements include previous fiscal and project management experience and a valid driver’s license. Experience with market or event management and public speaking preferred.
