MEMBER AND VOLUNTEER ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN (PAID, PART-TIME, TEMP)

The Mountaineers is seeking a part-time, energetic and hardworking Member Services and Seattle Climbing Committee Representative, who is passionately committed to the mission of promoting outdoor education, conservation and recreation in the Pacific Northwest.
This is a part-time temporary position, hours will be split between duties for Member Services and the Seattle Climbing Committee. Combined, this will be about 20 hours/week.
This is an administrative position that requires excellent phone and customer service skills. Knowledge of The Mountaineers and our programs is preferred since several questions pertain to specific activities.
About the organization:
Since 1906, the Mountaineers have been promoting safe outdoor recreation. Our mission is to enrich the community by helping people explore, conserve, learn about and enjoy the lands and waters of the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle Climbing Committee is the oldest and largest all-volunteer committee of the Mountaineers. With nearly 10,000 members, it is responsible for planning and executing 200 courses each year, training hundreds of people how to travel safely and responsibly outdoors.
Compensation:
$11 per hour depending on experience.
