OceanGate is looking for a savvy expedition leader to help plan, organize, and supervise submarine dive expeditions to explore unknown undersea sites with scientists, adventurers, and film makers. The successful candidate will lead the crew, mission specialists and scientists to safely execute dive operations to achieve the mission objects; juggle competing demands of client expectations, safety, weather conditions, staffing, scientific objectives, budgets and other unknowns; act as company spokesperson with the media and represent the company and expedition crew at public events; create and maintain professional relationships with vendors, partners and supporters; act autonomously to make mission-critical decisions directly impacting mission accomplishment, client satisfaction, and personal safety; and supervise the safe and effective deployment of all marine assets, including surface vessels, submarines, and ROVs, as well as personnel and shore operations.
