The Center is seeking recent postgraduates with expertise in the environmental sciences to participate in an interdisciplinary research projectinvolved in the review and evaluation of currently available scientific information for the purpose of developing science assessment documents. In particular, the Center is beginning work on multipollutant scientific assessments that review, evaluate and integrate the evidence on the health or environmental effects of several pollutants in order to draw conclusions regarding the independent and combined effects of the pollutants. Activities to include: compilation of data from relevant studies to facilitate cross-study evaluation and analysis; entry of relevant data from scientific studies into a database system; review of scientific studies and preparation of sections, figures, and tables of study results and data; and contribution to multipollutant analyses of health and environmental effects of air pollutants.
