The Brainerd Foundation is a Northwest-focused family foundation that provides grants to strengthen the ability of nonprofits, communities, and decision-makers to protect our region’s air, land, and water. The Program and New Media Summer Associate is a part-time, short-term opportunity for a qualified individual to engage in the development of the foundation’s online presence using web and social media skills to increase exposure to philanthropy and conservation in the Northwest. The successful candidate will be responsible for: external foundation communications, including Web site maintenance and development and maintenance of a social media presence; programmatic support, including coordination of grantee reporting and evaluations (Special research projects may be assigned, as needed); and back-up office support.
