Event Specifics

Last year, we had over 200 people attend Legislative Workshop! This year, we hope to surpass that goal with support from programs like yours. In 2013, we are updating the format of Legislative Workshop to reflect the growing number of young members within our organization. University attendance is a huge component of the workshop’s success. We will be holding a reception directly afterwards where participants can meet with legislators and other leaders in their community.

How Masters of Environmental Sutdies would benefit from involvement in the 2013 Legislative Workshop

Participation in this event will help showcase Masters of Environmental Sutdies as an environmental advocate and partner. Your students will benefit from exposure to this influential audience of over 200 environmental advocates, legislators, and leaders through networking opportunities during the event. Students will also get the chance to network with the Environmental Priorities Coalition, which consists of over 20 prominent environmental groups in Washington. Besides, it’s a great way to get the Evergreen State College student body involved with the community while helping protect the environment!
