Locations: Crews will be based in Seeley Lake, MT, Council, ID, and at least three other locations in the northwest or northern California to be determined.

Some crews may have bunkhouse accommodations, and other crews will camp out.
Salary: Positions will be filled at the GS-4 ($13.41/hr) and GS-5 ($15.00/hr) levels depending on experience.
Work Schedule: Full-time. Typically, the work schedule will be 10 hours per day, 8 consecutive days per two-week hitch.
Qualifications: Course work in Geomorphology, Hydrology, Geology, Earth Science, Forestry, GIS, Physical Geography, or Engineering is preferred. Field work experience, GPS, and GIS experience are highly desirable. Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, and have an excellent driving record. A current state driver’s license is required. Successful candidates will be physically fit and have the capacity to enjoy long field days and the peaceful solitude of nights in the woods.
Employment Period: Work will begin in Boise, ID in late May continue through August or September, 2013.
